Sports: Taekwondo<\/strong>
In her first Olympic participation, the Saudi athlete proudly and honorably carried the Kingdom\u2019s flag at the opening ceremony, leaving her mark on the world stage.<\/p>

She participated in the under 49 kg weight category in Taekwondo competitions, and achieved a remarkable victory in the round of 16 against a player who was a former Olympic medalist, which brought renewed attention to the level of Saudi women\u2019s sports.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>
