Omar is a left wing bird. The smoothness of his passes and movements on the field made the fans call him (the Bee), and his career began in 1982, where he played with the first team when he was only 18 years old, among major stars.
Bakshwin's talent had imposed itself as one of the main pillars of the Al-Ettifaq team, and he contributed to Al-Ettifaq achieving the first title in its history, which was the Saudi Premier League in 1982.
Local and foreign tournaments followed after that, and Omar Bakhshwain was chosen as part of the Saudi national team in the Los Angeles Olympic qualifiers. He had contributed to Al-Akhdar qualifying for the Olympics for the first time, and he also participated in the Gulf Cup in 1984.
Bakshwin continued to be a star in the ranks of Al-Ettifaq until 2002, when he retired from football while captain of the team, and headed to the field of training and obtained many training courses at the continental and international levels. He worked in several administrative and technical tasks through his club and the Saudi national team.
From 2010 to 2018, he worked as a coach for the Saudi national football team (junior level).
