Obaid Al-Dossary is a former Saudi football player, and is considered one of the historical goalscorers of Saudi football. He played with Al-Wahda Saudi Club and Al-Ahly Saudi Club. He participated with the Saudi national football team in several tournaments. He was removed from the national team in 2002
Obaid Al-Dosari shined early with his former club, Al-Wahda, and reserved a permanent place for him despite his young age. Thanks to his high football talent and his ability to score goals from all positions and in the most difficult circumstances, he occupied a permanent place for himself in the attack line of the Saudi Olympic and youth teams, and achieved the best and most wonderful results with them in Australia and Malaysia. He achieved the title of top scorer in the seventh Arab Cup in 1998 and the top scorer in the preliminary qualifiers for the 2002 World Cup.
During his participation with the Saudi national team, player Obaid Al-Dosari was able to score (30) official goals in the tournaments in which he participated. During the team camps, he scored (19) friendly goals, and he is the fourth top scorer after Majid Abdullah, Sami Al-Jaber, and Yasser Al-Qahtani in the history of the Saudi national team.
