				He is Muhammad bin Shaliyah Al-Faydi Al-Juhani. He was born on the 28th in the city of Jeddah. He played for Al-Ahly Club and also represented the Saudi national team.
Shaliyya played as a right-back and served Al-Ahly club for more than 10 years, during which he contributed to achieving many championships, and he also contributed to achieving achievements with his country’s national team.
Shaliyya began playing with Al-Ahly in the year 1408 AH in the Al-Baraem team until he rose to the first team in 1412 at a young age, where he was promoted by international coach Luis Felipe Scolari, and from that date he played with the Al-Ahly team until his retirement in the year 1424 AH.
Shaliyya won many championships with Al-Ahly as a player and team captain. As for his international career, he was selected for the first time in the 1996 Asian Cup in the Emirates, which Al-Akhdar achieved. He also participated in the 1998 FIFA World Cup and the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
He was chosen as the best Saudi player in the 2002 World Cup finals by FIFA. He was famous for his exceptional ability to lift crosses with precision. He was chosen among the ten best distinguished full-backs in the world in 2000 by France Football magazine in a list that included defense legends at that time, such as Cafu, Maldini and Roberto Carlos.
He retired from football in 2004 when he was at the peak of his career and had received many transfer offers before his retirement, but he preferred to end his football career at the club in which he grew up.
