				About the player
Hussein Ali Reda is an Olympic rower and heads the Saudi Arabia Rowing Federation. He qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, reached the quarter-finals, and became the first Saudi Olympic rower to represent the Kingdom, despite suffering from partial lung failure after suffering an injury weeks before the race.
Hussein started rowing as a hobby while studying for his Masters at Cambridge University, and it quickly turned into a passion.
Hussein had the honor of carrying the flag at the Olympic opening ceremony, and was the first Saudi to enter the Olympic Museum in Lausanne in December 2022, where his paddle is currently on display in the museum.
Hussein founded the Saudi Arabia Rowing Federation in 2019, and currently serves as a member of the Athletes Committee for the Riyadh 2034 Asian Games.
