About the player
Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al-Hamdan, a Saudi football player. He is the son of former Al-Shabab player Abdul Rahman Al-Hamdan. He plays for Al-Hilal Club. He studied in Riyadh schools and entered the Al-Shabab Club Academy from an early age to grow with his talent and become one of the best rising Saudi talents.
The Saudi Sports Authority announced the departure of 9 players to be in Spain and join various clubs in the Spanish League and the First Division in order to prepare them for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is in the first group with Russia, Egypt and Uruguay in the 2018 Russian World Cup.
The Kingdom witnessed 25 members of the Spanish “La Liga” association attending the loan signing ceremony for Saudi players, in a unique professional step.
A partnership was previously announced to develop Saudi football with the participation of the General Sports Authority, the Saudi Football Federation, and the Spanish La Liga.
It is scheduled that 9 players from the Saudi League will be on loan for the end of the season with their clubs before attending the Saudi national team’s camps in preparation for the World Cup.
Fahd Al-Muwallad, the Saudi Al-Ittihad player, moved to Levante, Salem Al-Dosari moved to Villarreal, Yahya Al-Shehri moved to Leganes, Abdul Majeed Al-Saliham moved to Rayo Vallecano, and Noah Al-Moussa moved to Valladolid. Jaber Issa joined the ranks of Villarreal “B”, Marwan Othman Beleganes “B”, Abdullah Al-Hamdan joined Sporting Gijon, and finally Ali Al-Nemr joined Numancia.
