Tarek Hamdi Won the Gold Medal at the 19th Asian Championship

Olympian Tariq Hamadi, a member of the Board of Directors and a star of the Saudi Karate National Team, secured the gold medal in the 19th Asian Senior Karate Championship in the "Individual +84 kg" category in Malacca, Malaysia, after defeating his Japanese opponent Ando Daiki with a score of 5-1.

The Saudi player added the fourth gold medal to his sporting career, following three previous gold medals, all of which were in the Asian Karate Championship in 2017, 2019, and 2021. It's worth noting that he previously won a silver medal in the "Kumite" karate category in the same weight class at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
